Chapter 7: When I went to Portland, I wasn’t at my best, so no matter how many times I’ve actually had the opportunity to visit there, I did see only 10% of what this amazing state has to offer. Unfortunately I was in an abusive relationship with a functioning alcoholic temporarily stationed in Seattle and God knows "Alcohol has drowned more men than the sea”....
Chapter 6: I made it to Portland, the day after Halloween. I didn’t know much about the city itself, basically my friends and I packed our bags overnight to reach out for Sabin and his family, so I got no time to read the list of “things to do in Portland”. I was so young,inexperienced and very too emotional too. I used to take with me my heavy big ocean color suitcase all the time.
